Vegan Chocolate Frosting

Once you try this frosting once, you'll be eating it plain; it's that good! Try to restrain and spread this chocolate coconut frosting on cakes, cupcakes, and more!

  • 1 can coconut cream refrigerated overnight
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • cup powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup vegan chocolate chips
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract


  1. Pour in the coconut cream(the whole can except the liquid on the bottom), cocoa powder and vanilla into a stand mixer with whisk attachment.

  2. Mix until smooth, then start adding in the powdered sugar a little at a time on low; just to make sure it doesn't go everywhere!

  3. Once that is mixed well, melt the chocolate chips either with a double boiler or in the microwave.

  4. Let them cool, then add into the rest of the ingredients and mix well.

  5. Enjoy plain or spread on top of your favorite baked good!
