Pour the strawberry puree over a fine mesh strainer over your pitcher and run all of the puree through the strainer until all that is left is pulp from the strawberries. Press the pulp down with a spoon to make sure as much as possible has gone into the pitcher, to lessen the amount of seeds that get into the lemonade skip pressing the pulp.
Then dissolve the sugar over low heat on the stove in a small saucepan with 3 cups of water to make a simple syrup, add to the pitcher.
Using a citrus juicer, juice the lemons to make fresh lemon juice, and add to the pitcher.
Add more water if desired, stir well, and let chill in the refrigerator until cold.
Add ice and serve!
