Banana Oatmeal Cranberry Cookies

These are my youngest child’s favorite cookies, that I also give her for breakfast sometimes! If you’re looking for an easy breakfast cookie recipe, then you and your kids will be sure to love these Banana Oatmeal Cranberry Cookies!

It’s like eating oatmeal for breakfast, but in cookie form, so they’re great for picky eaters, too!

Who doesn’t want to eat cookies for breakfast? Make this breakfast for your kids and stop fighting them to eat in the morning!

Ingredients

Oats: Oats provide the structure for these cookies, along with fiber and other nutrients as a whole grain.

Bananas: Bananas replace the butter, and sugar, and help these cookies stay together.

Cranberries: Cranberries add a little more sweetness and a slight tang, or ‘the flavor’, to these cookies and make them more enjoyable.

How to Make Cranberry Banana Oatmeal Cookies

Step one:  Preheat your oven to 350℉ and line your cookie sheet with a silpat.

Step two: Add your oats to the bowl and mash in your bananas until all of the oats are completely covered.

Step three: Fold in your cranberries until you can form a dough in the center of the bowl with the cranberries not falling out of the dough.

Step four: Use your cookie scoop, or measure out about 2 tablespoons of the dough, and place on your baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Use the back of a slightly wet spoon to slightly press down each cookie ball.

Step five: Bake for about 20 minutes, or until they start to slightly golden.

Step six: Allow to cool before enjoying and giving to your kids!

How to Serve Healthy Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies

These healthy cookies are best enjoyed fresh from the oven, as they have a little crisp to them and are delicious when warm!

Enjoy as a snack, breakfast, or even as dessert.

How to Store These Cookies

Room Temperature: Store at room temperature for up to 24 hours.

Freezer: Store in freezer if they won’t be enjoyed within a day, let thaw before enjoying again!
