Simple Vegan Chili Ingredients
*The full recipe is available to print down below on the ‘recipe card’, including ingredient quantities and all steps!
Kidney Beans: Kidney beans are the main ingredient for this recipe and should not be subbed out for another bean. It can, but shouldn’t be. However, white beans, black beans, or pinto beans could take the place of kidney beans if you REALLY want.
Tomato Sauce: Tomato sauce should not be subbed out either, if you must then you can, but with something similar, like marinara, or blend up some crushed tomatoes, or make your own tomato sauce.
Chili Powder: Use as much or as little as you want depending on how spicy you want it.
Cumin: Cumin adds, what I feel, as a mild or calming flavor, so I like to add some of that into this recipe.
Paprika: Use as much or as little as you want depending on how spicy you want it.
