Vegamour GRO+ Advanced Hair Serum, Shampoo, & Conditioner Review

If you’re looking for a way to level up your hair care routine or help with hair growth so it doesn’t look like you’ve experienced hair loss (possibly from going through multiple pregnancies, like me), then you’ll want to consider Vegamours hair serum, shampoo, and conditioner. And I’ll explain why…and it’s not just because it’s vegan (though that is a major reason why I would choose this over other hair products).

As a mom of three kids, running my own food photography business at home, homeschooling, and doing ‘all the things’, things can get pretty busy and one thing that usually ends up getting ignored is ‘self-care’, more specifically, my hair!

Postpartum Hair Loss & Poor Hair Care

I have been guilty of sporting the ‘mom-bun’ almost 24-7 since becoming a mom (11 years ago). Along with other things I know probably aren’t good for my hair. Such as brushing it and putting in a mom-bun while it’s still wet, falling asleep with a mom-bun, and more.

I also lost a significant amount of hair postpartum for all three of my kids. It literally came out in clumps in the shower. It scared me the first time, because it was so much and I was not told it would happen.

I’ve only just started trying to take better care of my hair this past year, when my youngest child stopped breastfeeding and my body finally became mine again (I was either pregnant or breastfeeding for 11+ years, before my youngest stopped last Fall).

Caring About My Hair Again

It started with me going to the hair dresser my oldest child goes to get my hair trimmed and to get bangs; things DID NOT go well. (And no, I don’t have pictures of that.)

Their prices were great! But, when I came home my husband said I looked like they gave me a mullet and that I aged 10 years from the cut; that’s when I realized why the hairdresser asked me if she could braid my hair before I left, as if she knew what she did and was embarrassed.

After my husband had a good laugh about it, he found another hair salon I could try. They were amazing and fixed my hair, I even had them dye it, and I came home looking my age again!

But, no amount of trips to that high end hair salon would fix other issues I’ve had with my hair;

  • Frizziness
  • Hair loss (from giving birth to 3 kids)
  • Constant split ends (well, maybe if I went there every 6 weeks I wouldn’t have split ends, but I’m not one to go to a hair salon on a regular basis)

Sure, frizziness is something I have always dealt with so that’s not new, and split ends are going to happen. But hair loss and thinning is not something I’m comfortable with and ever since I had that horrible experience at the first hair dresser this past year, I’ve been a bit more self-conscious when it comes to my hair.

Que Vegamour offering to send me their products to provide an honest review. And, an honest review is what you will get!

Vegamour Product Review

First off, Vegamour’s products are 100% vegan!

I double checked every ingredient in each product to make sure it would be safe for me to use, and to ensure it was vegan, and everything checked out. I like to do my research before using things for an extended period of time and would always recommend you do the same.

And to be completely honest in this review, I started to see results within a week of using their hair serum, shampoo and conditioner and I was ecstatic. I’d never seen anything start to work so quickly.

Week 1: I could finally put my hair into a ‘mom bun’ without having to rearrange my hair to hide where my hair was super thin.

Week 4: I didn’t seem to notice too much more of a difference.

Week 8: Well it’s like I never experienced hair loss from having kids!

During the whole process my husband didn’t seem to notice any difference.

But, you know how when there’s a gradual change in your appearance, the people you live with don’t ever seem to notice, but people you see once in a while will.

Well, same concept here, because I showed him the pictures I took from before I started using Vegamour’s Hair Serum, shampoo, and conditioner, and he couldn’t believe my hair used to look like that, with the somewhat balding from all of the hair loss.

Before and after photos of the side of my head, from using Vegamour products for two months.

The results kind of speak for themselves and I absolutely did not expect this extreme of a result. Especially since I hadn’t changed my diet and didn’t start taking any new vitamins or anything else to help with hair growth. The only change I made was using Vegamour’s products.

The specific products I used were Vegamour’s:

Not only did they help with my hair loss, but it literally only took a couple extra minutes a day to use and easily fit into my morning routine.

How to Use Vegamours GRO+ Hair Serum, Shampoo & Conditioner

The hair serum is what takes a couple extra minutes, but I just keep it on my sink next to my toothbrush. Which reminds me to do hair serum after I brush my teeth each morning.

All you do for the hair serum is part your hair and add drops of it all throughout and then massage in. I only ever parted my hair with my fingers, I didn’t use any clips. It’s a pretty quick process, just make sure you keep it on your scalp and to massage it in well. If you get it on your hair, it can feel a bit oily.

If you’ve ever used hair serum before (don’t worry, before using this product I hadn’t either), you can watch a video here to see how to apply it.

For the shampoo and conditioner, I simply replaced my old ones with Vegamours, so no extra time was added there. Please do note though, that both the shampoo and conditioner is supposed to be massaged into all of your hair, from the scalp down to the ends. I thought that was a bit different and worth pointing out.

Final Verdict: Go for Vegamour’s GRO+ Advanced Line

If you’re looking for an easy way to increase your hair growth and get rid of thinning hair (after years of mistreating your hair), without having to spend a ton of extra time, then you may want to consider using Vegamours GRO+ Advanced Hair Serum, Shampoo, and conditioner. It worked for me, and it might work for you, too!

Please note, I said easy, not cheap. I’ve never seen results this good with any cheap product that boasts it does the same. It’s just like when I went to the two different hair salons; you get what you pay for.

But you should also know, I can’t guarantee the same results. The results I experienced are my own.

But, I also wasn’t expecting such a huge result, so it might do the same for you. If you do try Vegamour’s products I would definitely suggest you take a before and after pictures so you can see the results, because, as I stated before, you may not notice much of a difference while in the process, due to it being a gradual change over time. But being able to compare what it looked like before and after, it may just blow you away!
